This page explains the terms on which Apex BioLabs supplies research products. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

Research use only

All products sold by Apex BioLabs are supplied solely for in-vitro and laboratory research by qualified persons. They are not for human or veterinary consumption, and must not be used as medicines, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics or household chemicals.

Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or condition. They are not registered or listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), and no statement on this website has been evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

What we do not provide

• Dosing, administration, or protocol advice for use in people or animals.
• Statements about effects, benefits or outcomes in people or animals.
• Answers to enquiries that indicate a product is intended for personal use. We may cancel such orders.

Purchaser obligations

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• you are purchasing for lawful laboratory research;
• you, or the people who will handle the products, are trained in handling research chemicals;
• you will store, handle and dispose of products safely and in line with all applicable laws, including state and territory poisons legislation; and
• you will not resell or supply the products for human or animal consumption.

Product information

Descriptions summarise published chemical information, such as sequence, molecular weight and content per vial. Where a third-party test report is published, the report is the authoritative record of what was tested; our summaries are transcriptions for convenience.

Our right to refuse or cancel

We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably believe the products are not intended for research use, or where supply may breach Australian law. If we cancel a paid order we will refund the amount paid.
