Bacteriostatic water for the lab
Research peptides are supplied as a lyophilised powder. Bacteriostatic water is the standard laboratory solvent for reconstituting them, and ours is independently tested. For laboratory research use only.
Description
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) derived from the ACTH(4–10) fragment. This form carries an N-terminal acetyl group and a C-terminal amide, modifications commonly used in peptide research.
Supplied as 30 mg of lyophilised powder in a 3 mL vial.
Research background
Semax (Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro) joins the ACTH(4-7) fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone to the tripeptide Pro-Gly-Pro, and does not have ACTH's hormonal activity. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Published studies, mostly in rats, examine its interaction with brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) signalling and gene expression in the brain.
Most published research uses unmodified Semax; the N-acetylated, C-terminally amidated form supplied here has been studied far less.
Research stage: Preclinical research in this form. Not approved by the TGA for any use.

Janoshik report #165289PDFCommon questions
How much is actually in the vial?
Janoshik Analytical measured 29.07 mg N-Acetyl Semax Amidate in the vial it tested (report #165289, 28 May 2026), at 99.424% purity. The label states 30 mg. Measured amounts vary a little from batch to batch; the full results list everything the report covers.
How do I check the lab report is genuine?
Go to janoshik.com/verify and enter the key Q2ZKKQP84UAW. It brings up Janoshik's own record of test #165289, so you can confirm the PDF on this page matches what the laboratory issued.
What is it reconstituted with in the lab?
NA-Semax Amidate 30mg is supplied as a dry, lyophilised powder. In the laboratory, lyophilised peptides are usually reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, the standard laboratory solvent, which we stock in 3mL and 10mL vials (for laboratory research use only). See the storage notes above for unopened and reconstituted vials.
How long does shipping take in Australia?
Orders are dispatched within 1 business day of payment and sent by Australia Post Express Post with tracking, which usually arrives the next business day across most of the Express Post network (allow a few extra days for regional areas). Express Post is a $15 flat rate, or free on orders of $250 or more. We ship within Australia only. See the shipping policy.
How do I pay?
By PayID or bank transfer. The payment details appear as soon as you place your order and are emailed to you as well. Your order is dispatched once the payment arrives.
