Bacteriostatic water for the lab
Research peptides are supplied as a lyophilised powder. Bacteriostatic water is the standard laboratory solvent for reconstituting them, and ours is independently tested. For laboratory research use only.
Description
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK), first described in human plasma in the 1970s. It is widely used in laboratory research on copper-binding peptides.
Supplied as 100 mg of lyophilised powder in a 3 mL vial.
Research background
The tripeptide GHK (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) was identified in human plasma in 1973 by Pickart and Thaler. It binds copper(II) ions with high affinity, forming the complex GHK-Cu. It is studied in cell-culture and animal models in research on copper-binding peptides, extracellular-matrix proteins and gene expression.
Research stage: Preclinical research. GHK-Cu in this form is not approved for any therapeutic use.

Janoshik report #215318100mg vial, PDFCommon questions
How much is actually in the vial?
Each vial size has its own Janoshik Analytical report.
100mg vial: 90.82 mg GHK-Cu, at 99.959% purity (report #215318, 31 Jul 2026)
Measured amounts vary a little from batch to batch; the full results list everything each report covers.
How do I check the lab report is genuine?
Go to janoshik.com/verify and enter the key for your vial size. It brings up Janoshik's own record of the test, so you can confirm the PDF on this page matches what the laboratory issued.

What is it reconstituted with in the lab?
GHK-Cu is supplied as a dry, lyophilised powder. In the laboratory, lyophilised peptides are usually reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, the standard laboratory solvent, which we stock in 3mL and 10mL vials (for laboratory research use only). See the storage notes above for unopened and reconstituted vials.
How long does shipping take in Australia?
Orders are dispatched within 1 business day of payment and sent by Australia Post Express Post with tracking, which usually arrives the next business day across most of the Express Post network (allow a few extra days for regional areas). Express Post is a $15 flat rate, or free on orders of $250 or more. We ship within Australia only. See the shipping policy.
How do I pay?
